The Last Breath>/i>
The myths of vampires started back when people started having fears. Fears for things which they could not explain, and some jealousy I think even comes into play upon those who can do things others cannot. To love death is only natural. Death is a part of life. Just as hypocritical as those who believe in good but refuse the existence of any evil in this ?perfect? world God created. If offense is taken, I do not apologize. I cannot apologize for what I am and what I do to keep myself alive.
Claimer
I am a vampire. Call it what you will: a killer, a hunter, and even a lover.
But, either way, whatever name you choose to label me with, I have no other choice. Society is raised with the idea to survive. So, why is mine so horrible, so evil? What makes me different than any of you? We are all vampires, all of you, in one way or another. Yours is just through money and power and greed, taking whatever you can from whomever just to benefit yourself. Mine is for survival. Yours is by choice. Yes, I could kill you. And yes, I could steal from you. As you could do to me. But, in both cases, there will always be more, always be others. None could be driven to extinction and none could be forced on their knees for the other?s pride.
We mean no harm, we mean no death. We only mean our survival. And just as you, we will do anything we fucking can to maintain ourselves. So, the next time you judge or point fingers, take a look at yourself and your life: everything you have done to get where you are, everyone you have hurt for your own sick pleasure, and think about choice. And the next time you see a beauty walking down the street, don?t put it passed her that she won?t drain the life out of you. Because God only knows this world has sucked enough out of all of us already. I am a hunter and a killer and a lover. I am a vampire.
Okay, you have awakened so to speak, now what do you do? I guess the first and most proper thing to do is go over the basics.
1.vampires do not turn into bats! I do not understand why it seems that we were sporatically created out of the media?s hunger for all things ?dark?, for everything anyone has a fear of. And perhaps an even type of crowd control?,?if you are like this, you will be hated?..?
2.we do not turn to ash at the morning dawn. Our bodies are not so sensitive that mere light kills us. But, we are very sensitive to light. The best analogy I can think of is when you are sleeping at night and you jump up and turn the light on, and that searing pain behind your eyeballs makes them water, I think that is pretty close to what I am talking about. Aren?t we supposed to be so strong that only a stake through the heart and beheading kills us???which brings me to my next point?..
3.we are not immortal. We have souls and flowing blood just like??.well, I guess the majority of the populous. I am sure that some would argue, but, this is all coming from personal experience
4.if a vampire bites you, you do not turn into a vampire!
Okay, I think this is the most abused legend. Just because someone sinks their teeth into you does not mean that this ?miraculous? change is going to occur within you and thus, you becoming like your hunter. That just does not happen. Vampires are born vampires. They contain some sort of trait which differs them from the rest of the species. And I say species because I believe that there is no dominant race. And it is the awakening that brings them to their complete state of being, in and out.
I do regret to tell all of you out there that want to be turned, it will not happen. Unless you already have it, you cannot become what you are not.
Blood Drinkers
Let me use this term lightly. When I say the term ?blood drinker? I do not mean a person who drinks blood. I am talking about a form of a vampire. A blood drinker is a vampire who craves blood for either physical or internal reasons. They need blood to survive, without this fulfillment, one may drive to cut themselves to satisfy this hunger or may even kill.
Cutting Yourself
I must say, as tempting as cutting yourself may be, it does nothing, really, and it only leave nasty little marks to be questioned on your skin.
Animal Blood
You know, i am not even going to get into this that much. The only thing i can say about animal blood is that 1. if it is from your own pet.......how do you deal with the guilt? No offense intended, but i could not take blood from the ignorant; 2. diseases. There are too many diseases that are transmitted through animal than I personally care to deal with. Just think about that the next time you spend 10 minutes in the grocery store trying to pick out which steak is less green....
PsiVamps
This is a very sensitive breed of vampyre. You are able to take what you cannot see, only what you feel. Before doing so, you need to know yourself, and your strengths. You must know how to drain in increments, because if you don?t, you will perish them upon the first feeding. You have the ability to take life, energy, and emotions, but also the ability to give them.
It seems that there is a trend of depression and manic depression among psivamps. This is mostly because they are able to get into someone's being, so, when a psivamp is emotionally attached to someone, it is blatantly that. They can feel everything around them and are apart of all their surroundings. Emotions, thoughts, whispers....they feel it all. i have learned to steer clear from large crowds. The bulk of emotion is like oil and water, it doesn?t mix, yet you are trying to drink it together. This does not work. You will only end up hurting yourself.
PsiVamps grow stronger when they feed, but crash even harder when they do not. Some only feed on their enemies, some just take random faces at public places. And I have known some that claim they can do it without the person even around. For me, I know, the person has to be around me. That way I can have ?direct contact? to the person and I can watch them as I do it. I have fed on someone and become deeply depressed because inadvertently that was the form of emotions I drained from the person. You can take any emotion from them, if that is what you are draining. Hate, love, anger, and such, but be warned, by draining this, you will become it and it becomes you. I call it eating a cancer.
Draining life force and essence is what makes us stronger. We take what keeps them going and put it into ourselves. This is the strongest and most powerful type of feeding, in my opinion. The ability to kill is easy and inconspicuous, unless you are one of those that cannot keep their mouths shut about what you are. Remember one thing about this though, Deaths haunt you.
Feeding and Donors
Donors
Be nice is what I have to say about this. If you are so fortunate to have a willing donor, you are blessed. Be good to them. Some vamps pay their donors, some are lovers, some are just good friends, and some find their prey in the midst of hot sweaty clothing at a club. But, with random victims, take care, and be smart, see Medical Concerns.
I think one of the pettiest things I have seen is a vamp groveling when they have lost or are in the middle of losing a source. To see them whining, ?But I need you?? is only an embarrassment to the race. If you ever feel like you are never going to feed again, step outside and look around, in all the houses are people and the same with all the cars passing by. There is always food. If you do have a donor, do not let them know that you need them, that will only make them feel petty if that is the only time you call them around. Instead, inform them that you enjoy them. This builds up the self worth.
for those who feed from lovers, treat them as you would want to be treated, unless that is you have zero respect for them, in that case, why are you with them? Remember all that you do to them and how they look is a reflection of yourself.
***A special note to PsiVamps: Do not feed on your lovers! This will only break them down and eventually, kill the relationship. When you are emotionally attached to someone, in the case of a lover, the draining is so much more powerful than you can imagine, and likelihood for death is more apparent. Fits of rage and fights come and go, but when they are gone, they are gone. And you will be to blame. I do not think that an hour fight about the bills comes close to comparing of days and days of sheer pleasure with someone. I emotionally drained a lover one time, I thought I was taking hate, but I took love because the 2 emotions are so close together. And you know what happened? He ended up hating me and the relationship became non-existent.
Feeding
There are so many ways to feed; cutting, biting, and my favourite and the cleanest, is by way of needle and syringe. Always ask your donors about what they prefer to ensure comfort and trust.
Cutting
1.Remember, clean and neat. Make sure what ever you are using, a knife a razor or what, make sure it is clean, I use a new fresh blade everytime I feed. Anything dirty can cause infection and may cause you to lose your donor.
2.Be neat. Do not be sloppy. Remember, this is someone who is entrusting you with their flesh, treat it as your own. And, if you really care, do not make so many marks so that questioning and grief will be brought to the donor.
3. Make sure you know what it is that you are cutting into. Do not cut over bone or large muscle groups, that will be a very painful healing and feeding. Do not cut anywhere where there is a probable artery. The best thing I can say to that is study anatomy for about 10 minutes at all the veins and arteries and you should be straight. Painful places are usually joints, such as the back of the knee and inside of the elbow, breast, palms, hands, and sometimes the chest and stomach. Just ask what is best for the donor and what they feel most comfortable with.
Biting
In my opinion, there is an art to biting. Where to bite, how hard, gnashing your teeth is all apart of it. I think that biting is a very sexual and very sensual way to feed. The connection of flesh to flesh and trust on the part of the donor that you will not ravage them. The neck is not a good place to bite, unless you are aiming to kill the person. There are many tendons and muscles which make this place quite painful. And, lest we forget the favourite of them all, the jugular vein. Like I said, don?t bite someone?s neck unless your intentions are ones of death. And just like cutting, know what you are biting into. Wrists are one of my better places to bite as well bitten. If you choose to bite, file your teeth, if not, it can feel like a dinner knife being forced into your skin. Biting is much messier and much clumsier than cutting or drawing, and the aftermath is one of large bruises and scars. I look at biting as more of a chapter in foreplay to the feed??.
Drawing
This is my favourite. Why? If done right, it is quick, clean, and most of the time, painless.
1. Do not use the same needle twice. Just like using drugs, infections and diseases can be spread quite carelessly this way.
2. Always clean the puncture site before drawing with alcohol.
3. Practice on something first before you practice on a victim. Vinyl seats are good for this. When you stick a needle into someone?s skin, it does not have to go far below to hit the vein. About a quarter of an inch, and I mean a very small quarter of an inch. If you stick it in too far, you will blow the vein making it useless for about a week.
4. Now, not saying that any of you would be ignorant enough to do this: do not inject your blood or anyone elses into someone?s vein thinking it will make them a vampyre. This does not happen, it is impossible. The only thing possible is death or severe sickness. Just like getting a bad blood transfusion or you could inject a bubble, thus giving your nice, fresh donor a heart attack.
I think the reason why this is the best method in my opinion is that you are in control of how much you take, and likelihood for the person to bleed to death is near impossible. And, one of my peeves, leaves barely a mark to notice.
Hunters
As much as we would love to deny, there are hunters. People who do not understand who kill us to try to kill their fear. Yes, they are out there, and yes, they do mean us harm. Please be smart. Do not go around telling random souls what you are. And if you are not, and crave to be a vampire, do not try to act like you are one, do not try to pretend, or you could be caught in the middle of this hunt. Being murdered for something you are not. I have never met a hunter, yet, there is a little part of me that would like to. I wonder what they have to say to justify what they do. I have heard testimonies from some, using religion as their shield to try to make us believe what they are doing is right. Saying,?It is God?s law?.
Watch your step and watch who is watching you. You never know who may be around, even if they are not a hunter. Entrust those who trust you. Entrust those whom you know will not expose you. It is hard to say how many of us there are, and I would rather not know how many of us rather than how many are left.
This site is open to voyeurs and anyone else who may just be curious. The text in this page is real and may be offensive to some. Just as you wake up and put on a crisp suit and get in your taurus and go to work, so as I awake and have a nice warm cup of blood.
